FAQ
Have any other questions? Ask me!
Q: I live near you/I am going to the same convention as you, can I do a local pick up?
A: Yes! If you live in the area, we can arrange a place to meet. If you are attending the same con as me, you can also pick it up there. It would differently be easier if the item is large.
Q: Does your stuff come from a smoke free or animal free home?
A: My products do come from a smoke free home, but I do have cats, and try my hardest to keep them away from my supplies. Though they just love getting into things they aren't supposed to.
Q: Help! A seam popped and I don't know how to fix it!
A: No worries, if you are still within the 90 day warranty, I will fix any problem free of charge, you just have to pay for shipping both ways. However, If your 90 days are up, I will charge a small fee to fix your product. If you are local or attending the same con as me, I can fix it there, without you having to pay for shipping.
Q: Can I get an illustration with one of your characters?
A: Yes, and no. As long as the theme clean. If it's sexual themed please ask me first.
Q: What do I get in a simple reference sheet?
A: You get just a front view (and back if you choose) of your character in cell shade, with a color palette and very limited details. i.e minimal accessories, eye view, mouth view, naughty bits.
Q: What do I get with a detailed reference sheet?
A: You get just a front view (and back if you choose) of your character in cell shade, with a color palette and intricate details. i.e accessory details, eye view, mouth view, naughty bits view, clothing view, or head shots
Q: Animation, what?
A: If you want your illustration animated, let me know, but only small movements such as wagging tail, blinking, ear twitches or things of that nature.
Q: What do you mean by eye batches?
A: Making the eyes take a few days to cure (dry) so when I have a batch ready to be painted I will open slots.
Q: I'm allergic to any fake metals, is it safe for me to wear your jewelry?
A: Yes. I myself am allergic to fake metals so I try to stay away from using things that can cause a reaction.
Q: How do I clean my jewelry?
A: Gently using a microfiber cloth is good to polish jewelry, remove tarnishing, and any dust particles that could cause scratches. Also try to avoid spraying jewelry with beauty products such as hair spray, cosmetics or perfume as this can tarnish or discolor the jewelry. If you live in a humid climate your jewelry will tarnish quickly due to sweat and you’ll need to clean it quite regularly.
Create a solution of DAWN soap and warm water and gently buff small sections of the jewelry taking care not to touch the gemstones. You can use a soft bristle tooth brush (one for kids/babies). Rinse and then dry.
To clean your gemstones, create a warm solution of soapy water (use small amount of baby soap). Baby soap is gentle and more importantly PH neutral, abrasive soaps will easily damage your gemstones. Place the gemstones in the solution for a minute or so and then rub the gemstone dry with your cloth. When cleaning gemstones you really need to avoid any form of abrasion. Use only soft cotton or jewelry cloth and gentle soaps. You may also use a soft tooth brush on hard gemstones to gently scrub away additional grime. You should avoid soaking porous (softer opaque) gemstones instead just wet another cotton or jewelry cloth and clean the gemstone. It’s important to dry the gemstone completely to remove any remaining chemicals from the cleaning process

Things to avoid when cleaning:
- Many metals and softer gemstones can be easily damaged by abrasive chemicals in certain cleaners. This is why it is always best to start your cleaning with relatively gentle methods before tackling any remaining grime and tarnish.
- Do not clean your jewelry over a sink or you may find yourself frantically finding a plumber.
- Rough cloths may scratch metals and softer stones, use soft lint free cloths only.
- Do not under any circumstances use harsh chemicals on gemstones which are porous. Porous stones will absorb the chemicals and damage your stones. Porous gemstones are opaque gemstones like Pearls, Turquoise and Opals.
- Do not use pins, tweezers or other sharp objects to remove small particles of grime, you will only scratch the metal setting of your jewelry, or even the stone!
